The Charminar constructed by Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah in 1591, is a monument and mosque located in Hyderabad. It is a global icon of Hyderabad and listed among the most recognized structures of India. This tourist attraction is situated on the east bank of Musi river. It is listed as an archaeological and architectural treasure by the Archaeological Survey of India.

Chowmahalla Palace was the official residence of the Nizams of Hyderabad while they ruled their state. Built over 200 years ago, Chowmahalla is renowned for its unique style and elegance.  The palace is located in the old city in Hyderabad near the Charminar. The prestigious UNESCO Asia Pacific Merit award for cultural heritage conservation was presented to Chowmahalla Palace in 2010. The highlight of the palace is the Khilwat, the Grand Durbar Hall. The sheer magnificence of Khilwat is breath-taking.


Makkah Masjid, is one of the oldest mosques in Hyderabad and it is one of the largest mosques in India. The mosque can accommodate 10000 worshippers at a time. Construction of the mosque was started by Sultan Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah in 1614 and finished by Mughal Emperor Aurangazeb in 1687. Makkah Masjid, is one of the popular tourist spots of Hyderabad.

Golkonda, situated 11 kilometres west of Hyderabad, is a citadel and fort in Southern India and was the capital of the Qutb Shahi dynasty. The region has produced some of the world’s most famous gems, including the Koh-i-Noor. Golconda fort is one of most magnificent fortress complexes in India and has an impressive place among the architectural marvels and heritage structures of India


The Salar Jung Museum is an art museum in the city of Hyderabad. It is one of the three National Museums of India and one of the largest museums in the world. It has a collection of 43000 art objects, 9000 manuscripts and 47000 printed books. The Salar Jung Museum houses the largest one-man collection of antiques in the world.  Mir Yusuf Ali Khan, former Prime Minister of the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad, spent a substantial amount of his income over thirty five years to make this priceless collection, his life’s passion.


The Ramoji Film City spread over 2000 acres is the largest integrated film city in the Telangana and the largest studio complex in the world. It was set up by Ramoji Group in 1996. Around 1.5 million tourists visit the place every year. The film city has a recreation centre, containing natural and artificial attractions including an amusement park.
